Terms of Service

Welcome to kakimakan. These Terms govern your use of the kakimakan mobile application and any related services (the “Service”) operated by Gleapx Sdn Bhd (“we”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. The Service is intended for users in Malaysia. You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the email and OTP code used to sign in.
You must provide accurate profile information and a real photo of yourself.
You may not impersonate another person or create more than one account.
You are responsible for all activity that happens through your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, dox, or abuse other users.
Post sexual, violent, or otherwise unlawful content. NSFW images are filtered automatically and may result in immediate ban.
Use the Service for dating, escort, sex work, or any solicitation of sexual services.
Solicit money, scams, MLM, crypto pumps, or commercial promotion outside of clearly disclosed business kakis features.
Discriminate against users based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, or disability.
Bring weapons, drugs, or illegal substances to a kakimakan jio.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service.

4. Meal jios and offline meetings

kakimakan facilitates meal meet-ups at public dining venues. We do not allow private invites in the MVP.
You meet other users at your own risk. We do not perform background checks beyond the live-selfie pose verification. Use your judgement, tell someone you trust where you're going, and leave if you feel unsafe.
Always settle the bill before leaving. AA settlement happens entirely in your own bank app — kakimakan only displays the host's DuitNow ID and each pax's share. We are not a payment processor, do not generate authoritative payment QR codes, and do not hold, route, or transfer any funds.

5. Content you post

You retain ownership of the content you post (jio descriptions, chat messages, reviews, photos). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content within the Service so that other users can see it. You can delete your content at any time.

6. Reporting and moderation

Use the in-app block and report tools to flag bad actors. We review reports within 72 hours and may warn, suspend, or permanently ban users who violate these Terms. Repeat offenders are removed.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms with or without notice.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that any user is who they claim to be, that any meal will happen, or that the Service will be uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gleapx Sdn Bhd is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any harm caused by another user offline.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
